Club Loam

With a typical clay content of between 25-28%, Club loam is used at clubs that need a true firm pitch but do not have the resources to cope with the higher clay content of our other loams.

Boughton Loam is free draining which enables quick easy pitch preparation along with fast grass seed germination.

To finish off your project or for the construction of pitches of less than 75mm in depth Boughton Loam can be screened at 3mm to give a smooth level finish.
